A perfect place to unwind in the evening. The other side of the ground floor has been converted into a reception area. A flight of wooden stairs from the reception area leads up to a landing on the first floor. There are one single and two double rooms on the first floor, each with two rows of windows looking out into the courtyard. The second floor has one triple and three double rooms with a three tier window in each. Both floors have two common European style flush toilets each. Three common hot showers and two more to be added very soon.
From the lodge, you can go on different walks through the village of Haatoe. You can talk to the villagers, experience the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle and take time to see their work. From the lodge you can continue walking down to the beautiful river of Haa Chhu. Cross the river and you walk through a pristine forest to reach the Jamte Gompa, a monastery over 300 years old. From the ancient monastery you will enjoy the best views of the southern Haa Valley from here.
